Updated Review: Unfortunately, I scheduled with Ramiro for Saturday, March 7th at 3:00 pm and waited for him until 4:00 pm. No call or text from him & when I texted to find out what happened, he wrote back that he was running over on his last appointment. I texted that I understood plans change, but would appreciate a call by the appointment time or earlier letting me know & rescheduling. Never received a return text. I assumed he did not want continue being out tech support.Original review: Ramiro with Dalmark Solutions was very helpful, personable & took the time to explain what he was doing as he worked on my laptop. He replaced my battery, installed new anti-virus software & backed-up my hard drive, which I had not done in 2 years according to the back-up history data. Ramiro even took the time to help my husband with a connectivity issue he was having on his PC, while he was at our home! We couldn’t be happier with the outstanding customer service we received & will continue to use his services for all of our technical support issues & needs!

Lots of them have no idea what they're doing in the first place: I had three separate other professionals come and look at my computer issue prior to Ramiro. All three went down rabbit holes that were completely off base: when Ramiro walked in, I explained to him their theories as to what was wrong, and in 30 seconds he had immediately identified that those were not the issues at all, and what the issue was. He came to my home in the late evening as soon as he saw my texts asking for help (my computer was needed badly for a time-sensitive affair at work): 9:30 p.m. he showed up and worked diligently and expertly on my issue. He took my computer and returned it good as new the next day. The cost was 1/3rd of what it easily could have been and 1/10th of what I would have happily paid for the service (raise your prices Ramiro, trust me).For those of us who lack the time to become experts in computers ourselves, and so we need qualified help and sage counsel when these devices don't perform properly, Ramiro is like a lighthouse in the storm. Compared the other techs who didn't listen, guessed around, and missed the mark, he's in a completely different category of quality and service.Ramiro didn't just repair my computer, he repaired my standard of expectations as to what IT assistance can and should be. It was excellent. He set up my NAS from scratch and I have been very pleased. I have hundreds of movies and pictures at my fingertips. Easy to use. And very important for me, was that he was always 1 text away. If I had an issue I could text him and he would lead me In the right direction. He also did some work for my company managing my social media. He managed my webpage, Facebook page and Instagram. Prices, hours and events were constantly changing and he kept the sites up to date at all times. He did some great graphic work. He also did a lot of analytics with my website and foot traffic, giving me ideas on how to improve my foot traffic. He is very easy to work with, and goes the extra mile. I still use him today. I highly recommend.

I may run out of space - lots to say. I'm a busy working person and the last thing I wanted to do was disconnect my computer and take it to a store who couldn't fix it. Been there...Done that. I wanted to find someone reliable, knowledgeable, economical, and trustworthy, to come to my home and take care of my computer needs. Ramiro/RCR was EXACTLY what I needed. I selected him on Thumbtack because of all the great reviews and am VERY glad that I did. He has been to my home twice and he gets it all done - if he hits an obstacle, he doesn't give up because it's taking too long, he finds a way to fix it. He has done all of the following - substantially improved the speed of my desktop, recommended and installed virus protection that didn't eat up the space in my hard drive like Norton or McAfee, installed a new router, activated and connected all my devices, installed an inside HDTV antenna, got my smart TV working, dealt with a difficult/complex printer/scanner connectivity issue, got me set up on an online back-up service and more - all for a very reasonable price. I think Ramiro is exactly what the American entrepreneurial spirit is all about - seeing a need, filling it and doing it very well and with pride and ownership. Ramiro if RCR Computers does excellent work! My Apple Mac would not boot past a prohibitory sign. I rely on my Apple Mac for my business. Apple Store ran a diagnostic and found hard drive issue but could not fix for one day. Ramiro through Thumbtack contacted with a lower quote. He came by immediately, and stayed late into the evening until completed, including data restoration. I was so pleased, I paid him what the Apple Store was going to charge me. I definitely will work with him again, and refer him to others.

Ramrio was great. Showed up on time and listened to what the problem was. He then explained how he would fix and went to work. In a short time - all of my computers, printers, and network were talking again. Great work.

Ramiro worked very hard to identify the problem by digging beyond his normal troubleshooting tools. His analysis provided me the information I needed to make a decision on repair or replace. Ramiro didn't hesitate to recommend replacing the laptop even though it would have been in his interest to make a repair. Had a watercooler issue. It was quick, easy and in budget fix. Kept me updated on the schedule and ultimately was a great experience. 10/10 would hire again if another issue came up that I couldn't solve

Ramiro was excellent. He was prompt, polite, and above all patient. He stayed for hours and helped me backup not just the hard drive for the original computer I had the issue but also a second. Excellent service and I've saved his number in my phone for future issues for sure.

Ramiro was very efficient & constantly updated me on the repair status of my laptop. When it was determined it wasn't cost-effective to repair it he backed up the data from my old laptop & transferred it to the new one. Would definitely use him again & recommend him for repairs.

Ramiro Barrera was excellent in his service. He established the home network between a PC, an iMac, and a wireless printer. He stayed longer than anticipated (2 hours) to finish the work.

Ramiro just picked up my computer. Very responsive, very polite, very knowledgeable (seems so far, anyway). His price is incredible, is a total price - not one where he'll keep adding hours or services or other expenses. He even came to pick it up! He took a few minutes to discuss my husband's computer as well. So far, this is fantastic!!

Came out same day and fixed our computer problems including connecting to printers, server and other problems very reasonable price too. Cannot recommend enough!

He was able to diagnose the problem with my PC fairly quickly (ended up being my motherboard) and allowed me to be able to get my PC up and running after replacing the faulty parts. I definitely recommend his serviced to anyone that is having problems with their computer.

Ramiro is very dedicated to getting his customers back on their computers and working. My job was supposedly one that was quick and was just replacing the hard drive. It turned out to be a much bigger job and Ramiro stuck with it until he had the computer back up and going. His prices are extremely reasonable for the amount of work he actually performs. IT services are very expensive, and I must say i was extremely satisfied with the work he did for me. Give him a call, you will NOT be disappointed. I took some of his cards to keep in my office at work, as there are always people looking for computer repair. I would recommend him over and over again.

Unfortunately, I had to cancel my appointment as RCR ran over on the service call before mine, and I was not able to rearrange my schedule to accommodate the 2 hr delay. Perhaps some other time.

We had a small hiccup to start, he wrote down on his calendar a differ day than he told us he would come to our house. He showed up once to help my father, did a decent job. We had some issue pop back up and we called multiple times to hire him to come back out and fix again. He ghosted us.

after we started he seemed to lose interest and was taking 5 minutes between messages. Maybe mine was a project he wasn't interested in tackling?

I had Ramiro change out the hard drive of my laptop. It went smoothly, which is what the second star is for.I also had an external drive that I needed to recover data from. After a month and a couple of reminders, Ramiro said he was not able to recover any data. Fine - I needed my drive back so I could have someone else try. It has now been more than 3 months of multiple follow-ups by email, text, voicemail; the guy has completely stopped responding and hasn't returned my drive.

He was very nice very knowledgeable and I was satisfied, bitten he just stopped returning my calls and texts. He came over twice and it was all great. Then he just disappeared. Nothing nada....just never came back or called me. That's not right.

After he left the exact same problem assist after I paid him.

Time Management and his Communication is HORRIBLE! Initial meeting was set up to complete work on Friday at 3pm. He received a text confirming this time and even responded yes to the time. sleepless to say, he did not show any courtesy, pick up the phone, or anything to advise 3pm was not feasible. I had to text him and ask for his eta, only to be told he was 1.5 hours away, so I ask why did he confirm 3pm and received no response. Worsr Communication ever, No Thanks to doing business with a Company that struggles with simple communication. On top, I confirmed the actual job needed only to receive a text stating I never advised what was expected. luckily, I still had the communication, so was able to show exactly what I advised him to expect. Business lost before it was even started! Very POOR communication.

He is very irresponsible and non reliable person. I had this faced twice and hence came to conclusion that such vendor have to be coached or people will lose confidence in the platform

He is too busy and wont find a time to come home. Keeps stalling

Show up and be honest about saying he will show up. Don't tell me what I want to hear. Actions speak louder than words. He did transfer files from hard drives to another external drive. . The next two days it was working and I was able to access the hardl drive and see all of my data, files and pictures. The third day the drive does not appear. Says it needs to be formatted. I tried unplugging and plugging back in. Still does not show the drive. I wanted to have this connected and usable so that I can save data to it. He said maybe the drives are bad or the docking station is bad. The docking station is a month old. The drives were in working order the day he came. I am sure it is a simple fix if you know what to do about it. I am done communicating with him. Not very professional when you cannot be honest and tell me you will not be coming back to fix what is now broke. No big deal to me anymore moving on.

I have not been able to use my laptop since this company was hired. DO NOT USE THIS VENDOR.

Couldn't fix my daughters lap top, which is fine...but I have been waiting for weeks to get my computer back and still don't have it. I guess the little job's don't matter. I don't recommend them if you need a small job fixed, seems to focus on the bigger things. I want my property back!!!

Call customers to tell them if you'll be late and when you should be expected. Respect them and their time.
